Chapter 47

Kutambuluka kwa Nseke

Chapter 47 teaches that true wisdom comes from within, not from traveling far. One can know the world without leaving home, and understand heaven's way without looking through a window. The further one travels, the less one truly knows. The sage accomplishes everything without moving, names things without seeing them, and succeeds without doing.

Luzolele bwanki na moyo na ngai?

This chapter reminds me that I often chase distant places and experiences, thinking they will bring me understanding. But true wisdom lives inside me, waiting to be discovered through stillness and inner reflection. I don't need to wander the world to know myself and the universe.

Nakosala nki lelu?

Today I will sit quietly for a few minutes, closing my door and window to the outside world. I will turn my attention inward, trusting that the answers I seek are already within me. I will observe my inner landscape before seeking elsewhere.
