Bölüm 51

The Way Gives Birth

The Way gives birth to them, Virtue nurtures them, matter shapes them, circumstance completes them. Therefore all things honor the Way and value Virtue. The Way is honored, Virtue is valued, not by command but by constant naturalness. Thus the Way gives birth, Virtue nurtures, grows, fosters, shelters, comforts, and protects. It gives birth without possessing, acts without expecting, leads without controlling—this is called mysterious Virtue.
